  1. I Think that 600 euros will be enough. Spain is a cheap country, calculate more or less 150 euros per day.

Enjoy yourself and have a good time!

  2. its been ten years since I went and euros weren't being used yet so I'm not familiar witht he conversion but for souvenir suggetions I can help you with that.  they have a very special kind of gold inlay jewelry thats made by hand in different patterns thats really nice. I can also suggest the hand made wood inlay boxes, pottery, flamenco dance fans. I also came home with some nice hand made pockets knives and porcelain doll for my mom. You can buy  keychains, shot glasses and little flamenco fans for less than $1 from street venders. souvenirs are really cheap but I found decent  t-shirts hard to find. the best t-shirts are at the Hard Rock Cafes. Theres one in madrid.  I'd suggest you have at least $100+ worth of euros for souvenirs. I spent quite a bit more but I bought a sword and a flamenco dress. the rest of my souvenirs were less than $100 total.

  3. 600 to 1000 euros will be enough.

something typical from the region you visit is always a good souvenir, like cheese, ham, wine or any other delicatessen. then you have the whatever item with the word Spain on it that you can get at the duty free area inside the airport.

i recommend the typical regional products, go where the locals eat and try them, then find a grocery store and get the product there, they offer the products in small format and sealed, ready for traveling.

    enjoy your trip!
