  1. $3100 for a great photographer, and I get an engagement session in casual clothes with my man on location in new orleans, a formal bridal session in new orleans in my dress where they have all these colorful walls. i get 7 hours on my wedding day, he will be at my moms house as i get my hair done, then with me to get ready at the site of my wedding, about 500-1000 pictures at the wedding and reception, then he is coming with us to the hotel we are staying at for the weekend to take pics in the lobby. i will get a dvd, a 200 4x6 album, a few of the huge pictures, and this thing called a flush album ( my fav) its like there are 50 10x10 pictures in this album with like 1/2" thick pages and the picture IS the page if that makes sense, you have to get them specially made. yay im excited!

  2. I got married 14 years ago.  It was $1,500 for the photos and video.  It seems inexpensive now but it was a lot of money back then.  I can't even imagine what it would cost now.  If you can't afford a photographer then you should have a family member or friend take pictures and have someone else do a video.  The pictures I got from family and friends and the videos I got were as great as the professional photos and video.

  3. I paid $1000.00 for the photographer and it came with 50 free pictures and one picture enlarged. It's better to go with a package deal otherwise they totally rip you off on selling single prints. I am soon going to be freelancing as a photographer and I'll defiantly create packages because I know it's stressful with all the extra little costs!!

  4. 1800. display album with 160 photos. all pictures on cd. and 18x12 inch large one. if you search hard enough you can find a good quality photographer who still charges a good rate

  5. My initial budget was $1,500.  I got a photographer for $900 that will put all photos onto CDs and I get to go wherever I want to print them - no proofs, no albums, nothing but CDs and a release to print them.  SO I split my budget into Photographer $900 and $500 for photo printing.
