  1. Be careful about carrying cash.  It is the same as anywhere in the world.  Tourist+ cash= easy target  Credit cards and ATMs work fine.  For cheap stay best bet is a local bed and breakfast (B&B).  Most places will have a B&B sign at the road.  Most will usually offer an Irish breakfast, sausage, bacon , egg etc which can keep you going for the day with a light snack at lunch time.  I would try for September rather than August as most Europeans tend to take Holidays in August and most of the farm work peaks in August (farm machinery on narrow roads can turn a short trip into a long one)  Can't help you with a price estimate except to say you might pay the same in Euros as you would in dollars.  So a meal out $30-40 would be 30-40 euros.  Enjoy and drive defensive.

  2. GO TO DONEGAL!!!! YOU CAN GET GOOD PRICES IF YOU STAY IN A B&B FROM ABOUT €40-€50 PER NIGHT FOR ACCOMMODATION BREAKKIE AND A LIGHT SNACK AT LUNCH AND A CUP OF TEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. hi there, if ur travellin from india 800 -900 Euros would be fine while in IE. It all depends how much do u spend on ur living and travelling. I think this money shoud b eneough.

    cheers!

  4. were getting a reputation of (rip off Ireland) which is not right, like every country its where you go. I do suggest B&B, you can pay from 30-50 euro a night, but the breakfast is so so worth it, also these family run B&Bs are more private and staff are willing to bend over backward too help. Transport can be expensive but the irish bus companys have good deals sometimes check it out on the internet. To take in all the sites in dublin walkin is the best way as our capital is small.
