Budget shopping in Irvine?

I live in an on campus apt at UCI. I came from LA County where groceries were cheap and there were bargain stores everywhere. It's been kindda hard to adapt here because things are expensive, even groceries. Anyone know of anywhere that's inexpensive and affordable?

I just graduated from UCI last year! I lived in Arroyo Vista for a year and at Vista Del Campo! Awww! I would mostly do my grocery shopping in LA every weekend because Irvine is really expensive. But Original Irvine Ranch isn't that bad and it's very close to Irvine - in Costa Mesa. I hope that helps! Enjoy Orange County while you're there, I know I did!!
