Budgie With A Canary?

Hi

I have a male budgie who is by himself. We've had him for over a year and I'm interested in getting another bird? Can you keep a canary with a budgie?

Not in the same cage.  He'd likely hurt or kill it.

Not a good idea at all...  If you want another bird get another Budgie!
