  1. I wholly agree with RanaBanana. But if you can't afford to go to the vet, or your parents won't let you take her (very common, stupid parents...) I would go to the nearest pet store and ask for a broad range antibiotic.

Self diagnosing is not a safe thing, it could exacerbate the problem. But when you're desperate, I would try it.

    Good luck with your baby!

  2. This is deffinatly NOT normal. i have never, ever heard of a bird actually "throwing up"

you should get her to the vet ASAP...like RIGHT now..

there may be little hope unless you get her to the vet.

hope it all goes well :(

  3. If you want her to survive it's off the the avian vet for you (and her).  When a bird starts vomiting it's VERY bad.  I know someone just last whose cockatiel started throwing up and it ended up being e-coli poisoning, despite medications from the vet, the bird did not survive.  Unfortunately.

Either take her in and pray for the best, or stay with her and try to make her feel comfortable in her last days or possibly hours.

    So sorry about your bird.
