  1. I used to breed budgies and they are very sociable birds which is one of points why they are popular pets.  If you can take the male out for a few days and put him in another cage and let the female get used to the surroundings on her own, then reintroduce the male, he should be less aggressive and Territorial. If not keep a close eye on them they should be fine after he accepts her.

  2. some times they get over it but other times they will fight and wont get over it my bird was a budgie at first they didnt get along later on they did but my friends birds on the other hand never got along but them were differnt birds

  3. I have had the same problem. The male was greedy, but they got over it. Ive had them for 7months so give your budgies some time. Also it helped when i got 2more budgies. Im pretty sure they'll get along after a month or 2. Cause they'll start to realize they're going to live with each other either way, but if it seems get worse you should separate them or buy another budgie to make the male less greedy. Hope that helped.

  4. No it wont pass I used to have two Budgies male and female in together and one pecked the other to death separate them asap before the same thing happens to yours

  5. if the male has been in cage on his own 4 while might take him time to allow another bird in beside him
