Budgies and fish....

Question

im getting budgies soon and their cage is going to be near my fish tank. im just curious if the birds will watch the fish, or be interested in them at all. or maybe they wont like it.

Some birds would love to watch it and some might be scared of it.  It all depends on the bird since each of them has their own personality.  If I were you I would just try it out but just watch the birds to make sure that they arent distressed by it.  It seems that parrots because they can think are the only ones that might not like it, but budgies are a little more simple and probably wont mind it, but will most likely just like to watch it throughout the day.  Hope this helps, gl!

Well this is what I can say my baby albino indian ring neck loves his lil fish tank. He is a baby still that I am hand-feeding. But my African grey hated the fish tank and would strike at the cage if he was near it. I would say exercise extreme caution as to be sure that the bird cant get to the fish and eat them or drink the water or worse. They may like them and they may not every bird is different.
