Budweiser- sold to foreign company?

It will still be made here.  Beer is expensive to ship so it makes no sense to close all the local breweries and Budweiser is not a premium beer that could accept the additional price caused by shipping from Europe.  We will probably see a reduction in the labor force needed to produce the product.  Many of the breweries are staffed with enough people to produce the product using the old methods.  The addition of computers has reduced the need for so many people and the extras will probably be let go over the next few years.

Bud is made from cheep c**p (rice) inbev is a huge company that makes mostly beers from low quality ingrediants (not all). Don't worry, they won't put one more cent into Bud then Busch would to make it any better.

I live just south of St Louis

InBev is stating they will keep everything the same.

They are saying they won't change anything & the people at Busch will be able to make all financial decisions (busch gives lots of money to local organizations, charities that would basically crumble without their support) not to mention Busch holds the naming rights to Busch stadium (InBev stadium - what do you think?  I don't like it either)

Busch also owns grant's farm - inBev swears it will remain open.

Financial analysts say things will remain the same for a couple of years then changes will be made.

Nothing will be made in this country anymore  - the weakened US dollar will destroy it -

but on the other side many believe the end of the world is near so we won't have much longer!!

Who cares, all the best beers are from overseas anyway. Budwieser sucks. The only domestic beer I will drink if I dont want to spend anything is Steel Reserve. Guiness is the God of beers, then New Castle, Fosters, alot others. Bud sucks, coors sucks, even corona sucks, corona is only good at a bbq if its free. People that complain about not buying another bud are the same people going to Octoberfest celebrations every year.

made here ... for now anyway.  i'm so bummed out about it i'm gonna cry like a baby in my beer.  belgian.  whoever would have thought.
