Does anyone know if this hotel has mini fridges/microwaves in the room? we booked a honeymoon suite.

It looks like no mini-fridge or microwave in the room. If you are going All-inclusive, bring a large plastic cup (insulated is best,i.e., Bubba Keg). They serve in little plastic cups. You can buy a small cooler for nada at the Soriana grocery store nearby, or at any OXXO mini-marts, along with beer, wine, tequila, etc.and food. You should be able to get ice from the hotel. If you do make it out of your hotel, take a bus (have small Mexican pesos, cost is 5.5 pesos or 55 cents) Make sure it says Centro and get off anywhere near City Hall park. It is a block to the malecon, or boardwalk and there is a lot to see and do, especially at night. Sunday night is the best. To take the bus back, it is one block further up, on Moreles. You might also enjoy the flea market and shops on the Rio Cuale island, where you barter for price (ask half what they want)

Also, Cafe Roma, near both places on Encino, is owned by Senor Fox, a Canadian who just got married. Drinks and pizza are inexpensive and very good. Tell him the vermontchef sent you.
