Buenos aires cheap clean places to stay?

I am planning to visit Buenos Aires in four weeks(March '07). Can anyone recommend a clean and inexpensive place to stay near all of the activity!

I'm from Buenos Aires.

Many foreign friends were in Milhouse  They passed a good time there, close to the downtown, bars discos etc.

Inexpensive is relative.  Hotel Bel-Air on Arenales in Recoleta is inexpensive for me, about US$80-90 per night.

Every hotel in Argentina is clean, regardless of level.

There are also many hostels in the San Telmo district.  I think the Milhouse or Millhouse is popular with the younger crowd and porbably less than $20 per night.

Hotel Alvear on Avenida Alvear is very clean, as well.
