Question:

Buffalo 500GB external hard-drive, help....?

It's the HD-HCU2 series.

I'm trying to put songs onto it but it keeps saying, "The item could not be moved because "HD-HCU2" cannot be modified".

The songs are mp3's that i have on my memory stick/flash drive. Do i need to change it from mp3 to something else?

    No you shouldn't need to change then from MP3, they should just copy as would any file.

    Can you copy any other files to the drive?

    Has it been formatted?
