Buffalo Bills hope Steve Johnson will make it against the Miami Dolphins – NFL News
Steve Johnson is ready for action against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday but is still being considered questionable due to an injury in his left shoulder.
During last weekend’s 44-7 loss to Dallas, the Wide out sustained a left shoulder injury during the fourth quarter of the game that saw him out off the field.  Johnson missed the practice on Wednesday but made a return on Thursday.
However he was limited in his practice on Thursday. Johnson was optimistic that he would play Sunday.
"We’ll see what happens when we make it to Sunday. I’m definitely making progress. In the training room we’ve been doing a lot of treatment. Hopefully we get everything we need so once Friday or Saturday comes around I’m fully
confident in going out there and using my arm and throwing people by and all that stuff for the game." Johnson said.
Head coach Chan Gailey too looked hopeful that Johnson would make it against the Dolphins.
"Stevie came out and did some things today, which was good" Gailey said on Friday. "He was limited, but he did some things. We got him off the field early to get some treatment."
But Johnson is not all that the Bills risk losing. They have been plagued with injuries all along. Safety George Wilson has an injured neck which made him stay away from practice the whole week. Wilson’s chances of being in Sunday’s
game are low. Another loss for the Bills has been Demetrius Bell who has sustained a shoulder injury. The left tackle is questionable for Sunday.
Also questionable for Sunday’s game is linebacker Spencer Johnson suffering from a calf injury. Receiver David Nelson has a sore ankle which according to the coach was now in a better condition. Nelson however missed the practice
on Thursday due to sickness. But he will likely be on the field this Sunday.
However, Bills’ woes do not end here. Kicker Dan Carpenter injured his groin during Thursday’s practice and had to limit his action on Friday. Carpenter along with tight end Anthony Fasano are questionable for Sunday. Fasano has
a sore ankle.
