Buffalo NY to Welland Ontario??

Hey guys. Taking a trip coming up in May hopefully! The plan is to fly in to Buffalo, New York and then I ultimately want to meet up with a friend in Welland Ontario. So. My question is if anyone knows the best way to get from Buffalo New York to Welland. I looked into renting a car but since I'm only 22 its -quite- spendy to pay the underage drivers fee. Is there a train perhaps? Or a bus? Anything else I'm not thinking of? Any and all information would be most appreciated!! Thanks!

Public transport is non existent in North America. Your best bet could be to take a bus from airport, go to Buffalo down Town (Greyhound Station) and take a bus to St Catherine, or even better to Port Colborne in Ontario. Your friend should be able to pick you up from there.

To be honest the distance is not much and if your friend has some inclination, he or she can come and pick you from Buffalo Airport. If you can fly all the way to Buffalo why cant they come and pick you up from the airport. I live in Burlington and most of my friends fly to Buffalo as it is cheaper and we go there and pick them from the airport.

One tip. Make sure to buy a ticket so you don't reach Buffalo late at night.
