Buffer overrun in adsubtract pro

Question

I also am having the same problems as others with adsubtract. I followed the solution. opened the file hosts with notepad and added the 127.0.0.1 store. trendmicro.com at the bottom when I pressessed save it said it could not save the file "hosts" so i just exited out and it said save and I said yes. I still had the bufferoverun error . I then proceedd to uninstall adsubtract. when I did that I could not get on the internet with explorer at all. I did a system restore to the 16th. still have problems. please help!
