Bug bites or poison ivy? ?

so i think i may have poison ivy but im not positive. i have a lot a lot a lot of bumps on the back of my legs, and they look like just mosquito bits, but there really itchy, and sometimes the itching just goes away for a few minuets. the bumps also get really red when i start itching them. so poison ivy or just a lot of bug bites?

Were you standing or walking in tall grass?  Chigger bites

Did you walk through bushes?  Poison Ivy or Poison Oak

Did you touch anything with 3 leaves?  Poison Ivy

Did you touch anything growing close to the ground that looked like an Oak tree sprout?  Poison Oak

Did you sit near grass that has not been mowed in a while?  Chigger bites

Since you have a lot of them, my first guess would be chigger bites.  The itching will go away in a few day.  Meanwhile, cover the bumps with an antibiotic cream like Neosporin.  The thicker you put it on the less it will itch.  Itching is caused by histamine, so using anything that blocks it will help.

bug bites are usually spred out but i guess it could be, posion ivy is like a rash and can swell and pus plus if its posion ivy and you scratch it and touch yourself somewhere else it can spread on your body so be careful try going to a pharmasist and asking there oppinion and what would be best to treat it, good luck
