Buglys Billie victory against Droopys Djokovic is far-fetched, but she has made her trainer proud
Buglys Billie aced in the (Bags) Knockies Hannah TV Trophy Challenge Final, with her phenomenal run
The black and white b***h previously gave a hit in the (Bags) The Knockies Hannah TV Trophy Challenge (Heat 1) held on the 21st of August 2011 at Sittingbourne.
After her splendid performance, the champion again caught her trainer’s eye in the (Bags) Knockies Hannah TV Trophy Challenge Final.
Daughter of Westmead Hawk out of Guess Whos Comin, Buglys Billie started her victory chase from trap 3. Since the beginning of her run, she had swiftness and with speed she made her way through the crowed of five contenders and proclaimed herself as the
first to reach the wire.
The three-year-old English b***h, covered the 893 meters distance in 56 minutes and 96 seconds.
Although Buglys Billie had to face tough competition from Mercury Rose and the famous Droopys Djokovic, she maintained her position and won the purse of £1000.
Trainer A M P Collett’s Mercury Rose began her chase from trap 5. Her performance lacked the factor of speed. When she was near the wire she tried really hard to be the first one to cross but the situation was in over her head and she finished second.
The white and fawn b***h was left ½ mile behind the winner Buglys Billie. She managed to cover her total distance in 57 minutes and 01 seconds.
The (Bags) Knockies Hannah TV Trophy Challenge Final gave astonished results when the blue dog Droopys Djokovic, got defeated by his female contenders.
The three-year old had a fast start from trap 4 in the beginning. Trainer J Daly never expected that his champion greyhound would have to face such tough competition.
Gradually the race became a hassle for Westmead Hawk’s son out of Bower Naomi, Droopys Djokovic.
Even though he continuously ran on, he was left ½ a length behind Mercury Rose and finished third, with total recorded time of 57 minutes and 05 seconds.
P W Young’s brindle dog Aero Gaga who was 4 lengths behind Droopys Djokovic, ran from trap 2. Preliminarily, he raced well, but the top three contenders gave him a tough time.
It was too late for the three-year-old to put some elbow grease in his performance so with a total time of 57 minutes and 37 seconds, he finished fourth in the race.
The black b***h trained by A M P Collett, Liosgarbh Ltric, finished fifth in the race. The two-year-old sister of (Bags) Knockies Hannah TV Trophy Challenge Final’s winner, Buglys Billie, presented a clear run but the event was not lucky enough for her as
it was for her victorious sister.
Even though both sisters were trained by the same trainer, Liosgarbh Ltric was declared fifth to reach the wire in 57 minutes and 59 seconds
Following Liosgarbh Ltric was the black b***h, Crossfield Norma. The four-year-old was 2 ½ lengths behind Ltric and the last one to reach the finish line in 57 minutes and 79 seconds.
Apart from the purse of £1000, £250 was rewarded to the hound who finished second, whereas £100 were given to rest of the position holders.
