  1. whoo bed bugs do they love fresh blood, and they are obviously attracted to your scent, rather than your wifes.

heres advice what to do and get rid of the little biters.

To control bed bugs you must first locate where they are living. Inspect all of the locations described above including the less conspicuous places such as dressers, carpeting, and drapery. Remember, just because they are bed bugs, doesn't mean they can't feed and live in other places, such as a couches or recliners. Once the bed bugs are found, there are several different methods that may be used to combat them.

A non-chemical approach would be to vacuum all visible bed bugs from the mattresses and box springs and their other known harborages. Ensure the vacuum bag is removed, sealed, and disposed of off premises immediately after vacuuming. The mattresses and pillows can be steam cleaned, paying particular attention to the seams and tufts of the mattress, to kill any remaining bed bugs. Seal the mattress and box springs in plastic mattress bags to ensure any missed bed bugs do not attempt to reestablish themselves. Another effective exclusion technique is placing glass barriers around the bedposts and keeping the bed frame away from adjacent walls. Bed linens and draperies can be dry cleaned or washed with a detergent and borax additive in hot water

  2. How disgustingly gross, get a new bed!

  3. ...think of the services of an exterminator...quickly...and then give them a call...you will thank me later...

  4. first off, the bugs are biting both of you, 50% of people don't feel the bites and don't show any signs of the bite because they are not allergic to the bites (think about people who respond quite badly to mosquito bites but others do not).

Bedbugs cannot jump or fly, so maybe (hopefully) that is not what you have.

Search the bed and boxspring seams as well as the folds on the bottom of the boxsprings and any wood that is near the bed such as frames, pictures, decoration, molding etc, for small black dots about the size of a pinhead, usually in groups.  If you see this, this is bedbug poo and is a surefire way of determining that this is what you are dealing with.  Otherwise it is most likely something else.

If you do find the poo marks, go on the offensive immediately... preferably with professional help because they are exceptionally difficult to get rid of an spread around very quickly.

  5. Maybe try washing your sheets and pillows cases and put on some moisturiser it helps

  6. Getting a new bed is a good idea, but the bugs sound as if they were fleas. Another possiblility is the bedbug, but they can be ruled out because they do not jump. Try fogging the area, and use another bedroom. Or you can get some kind of superelectrothingies at Home Depot to drive away the fleas. They are so small that they cannot be found. Also, they might bite only you because of your blood content.
