Bugs plz help me?

OK i saw a bug in my room it looked to me like a blue lightning bug but wen i smashed it it was hard and iv never seen a har lightning bug letaloen a blue bug at all soo i was goign to throw it away wen its roled up soo it wasent dead soo i drowed it soo if any1 knos wat a blue hard bug that dosent fly is plz plz plz let me no !!!!

You need to give a better description than that. My guess, right now, since you said it was rolled up, was that it was a pillbug, but it could be something else. Anyway, whatever it was there was no reason to smash it, especially if you thought it was a lightningbug... who smashes those? They're harmless.
