Build power in legs when riding a bike??

i just learnt how 2 ride a bike, now i want to build the power in my legs cuz when im on the flat or goin up a hill i dont get anywere!!!

  1. Get in the weight room and do some squats.  Another good lift would be be lunges.  Call Hans and Franz cause they will pump you up!


  2. Start by building a base of aerobic endurance. Take lots of long, low-moderate rides. Do this for a couple of months before trying to build your strength. I followed this plan and got very good results. You need a good aerobic base to be able to generate power for minutes, and then hours, at a time.
