  1. You have to have a basic idea of what you want to achieve by building a new computer. Do you want it to play all the latest games out?/ coming out? If so, how much money can you spend on it.

I'd suggest for money being an issue:

Processor: Dual Core 2.8 Ghz / Quad Core 2.4 Ghz

    Ram: 2 Gig

Graphics Card: Nvidia 512Mb 8800 GT or even a

    Memory: 250 Gig / 300 Gig Hard drive 5,400 rpm / 7,200 rpm

    Motherboard: Asus P5Q ExpGATE S775 P45 DDR2 FSB1600 PCIE RAID 2xGBLAN 2x1394a ATX / Asus P5E-VM-HDMI QuadCore G35 FSB1333 DDR2 PCIEx16 VGA RAID GLAN 1394a mATX

For Money not being an issue:

Processor: Dual Core 3.0/3.2 Ghz / Quad Core 3.0 Ghz

    Ram: 4 Gig

Graphics Card: 2x Nvidia 9800 VX's in SLI setup

Memory: 2x 500 Gig Hard drives or even a Terrabyte hardrive 10,000 rpm +

Motherboard: ASUS STRIKER II FORMULA nForce 780i SLI 1333MHz FSB DDR2-1066 3x PCI-E x16 SATA II RAID Dual GbE IEE

  2. Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad Q6600

Memory: Patriot Extreme Performance 3072MB RAM

Hard Drive: 150 GB WD Raptor / 500 GB WD Cavier

Video Card: EVGA NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 640mb

Monitor: 22'' HP w2207h HDMI Input Monitor

    Sound Card:X-FI Fatality X-treme

    Speakers: Logitech Z-5500 505 Watts 5.1 Speaker

    Keyboard: Logitech G11 Gaming Keyboard

Mouse: Logitech HID-compliant G9 Laser Mouse

Operating System: Windows XP Pro SP3

Motherboard: MSI P6N SLI Platinum 650i

    Computer Case: Antec 900

that's currently my system. i think it should cost around $1000 to get all that and put it together nowadays. it's only a decent computer that was built to play future games at exceptional settings

  3. Make sure you get a Core CPU that operates over 2Ghz, P35 is a good chipset for a Mobo, GeForce 8800 and 9800 are good chips, also I heard the Ati 4850 was good. (If you want a good and cheap CPU the Q6600 is quite cheap now).

  4. Go for nvidia GTX 9800

    best one

good for high tech games like crysis, etc

AMD phenom processor a lot better than intel quad core one.

go for realtek sound cards check the best sound card from their site realtek.com

    4 GB ram

    awesome performance

have a wireless mouse and keyboard for a gaming experience

I am expert in building games PC's

use these products and i assure you every game will work on your PC

  5. 1.get an asus crosshair 2 mobo

2.a amd 6400+ x2 cpu(dont get the quad cores there still slow for gaming)

3.nvidia 9800gtx pci-e video cars two or three if you can afford them you can run sli with two or three cards now

    4.4 gigs corsair xms2 ddr2 6400

    5 xfi gaming sound card

6 at least a 600 watt power supply add a hundred watts for every gpu over one that you get. there power hogs(so if your running 3 9800's get an 800 watt power supply)

  6. Well, I really can't tell you what you want. It depends on your budget and what sort of games you play. If it's games like Crysis, you'll need a high-end computer.

Make sure you have more than 2GB of RAM - most games nowadays need that much to run smoothly.

Also, you'll want a dual core processor (single cores are getting pushed away and quad cores still aren't supported for all games) with atleast 2.6GHz. Intel or AMD are good processors to have.

I use a Realtek sound card, that's all I can say for that.

Your video card should be an nVIDIA or ATI card, those are the most well known and supported by games, 256-512MB of memory on the card should be enough.

PLEASE - for the love of god, please do NOT get integrated graphics - you'll regret it when you try to play your PC games.

  7. Really the first question is how much do you want to spend?

The easiest thing to do is go to the Dell web site, and see what they put into a "gaming" computer, and then go to the store and get the same pieces that you want that are close.

  8. just start by choosing your budget.

find a motherboard that seems adequate for you (nforce 790i is one of the best right now)

then find out what it can support and look for those parts. be sure everything is compatible with your motherboard.

to find out what parts will be good for you read a lot of customer reviews on sites like www.newegg.com

also be sure to look at warranty information.

do not forget to compare prices and shop around a lot!

  9. it mainly depends on your budget.

email me and we can discuss this. dannyjahanfard@gmail.com

but what u want to be able to play current games and future games smoothly would be

    a quad core CPU

    atlease 4 gig of ddr2 800 ram

mother board depends how much futures you need.

graphics card going with 1 high end card is always better. but doing SLI or Cross fire *( using more then 1 graphics card ) can give u more bange for the buck. going with 4870 and maybe upgrading to another one latter on i would reccomment.

    powersupply depends on your setup.
