Building a house ?

So for building a house what are the parts a person should study.

I Know Architecture (Blue prints, size, weight correct me if i am wrong) Designer ( house design in 3d)

What else?

  1. you should know your limitations of what you want balanced with how much you want to spend.  You should hire a professional to lead you through this process, otherwise you most likely will make many mistakes throughout the project.  To design and build a house, you really need to have a good idea of function, resale, furniture layout, materials, site planning, governing agencies, HOA, construction assemblies, scheduling, etc.  And at the end of the day, this thing has to look good.  Question to you is do you want to live with your mistakes for the next 20 years.
