Me and a couple of my friends thought about building a paintball field. we got land for free from one of the friends cousins. What i am asking is how can i build a quality paintball field and make it pretty cheap. what should i have and what shouldnt i have when we start it. We need bunkers, chronographs, filling stations, and netting but still try to keep everything under 1500 dollers. PLZ help

  1. You will need to source some netting, kinda like the wind breaker stuff they use at orchards. This would be the most expensive part of the operation, unless you can source some old stuff - and only cover areas where any awol paint may hit any houses, or unwilling spectators.

They you will need poles to support the netting. You may be able to scavenge some for free - otherwise look to break out the wallet for some.

Concrete to post the pole, nails to attach the netting...

You can use barrels to provide shelter, or hire a digger for a day and dig some awesome trenches (You can reinforce it with wood - another expense)

Alternatively, you can hire bunkers from a dealer. I think they do it for about $NZD50 per bunker here in NZ, so go check out some dealers if possible.

I dont know about chronographs, but you may like to buy several diving tanks and just fill them at a dive shop for about $10 per bottle. Which will last an entire day.

Theres alot to consider, but if you do it for under $1500, i'll be amazed.

    Well, good luck :)
