Building a traditional skin on frame kayak?

I'd like to build one but it's a bit intimidating since I'm not an experienced woodworker. How difficult is it? What are some good resources for constructing a Greenland kayak?

Try search for...Fold Boat. Search again for; kayak, frame. Consider that the Inuits built their boats using simple tools and available material, you should have success. Some of their materials may not be available; animal skins and bones. Each boat generation has jumped to better materials.  Kevlar was thought to be the ultimate material but then along came carbon fiber!  What next?  Probably an aluminium, carbon fiber and resin composite.
