The building was hit from the top which developed a dimple which is the size of a sink which is about 2inches deep. Every tim it rains water sits in the dimple creates a bird bath. I am trying to figure the correct way to fix it.

  1. You need to either fill in the dimple or cover it up.  What type of material is the building made of around the dimple?  If it is brick then fill in the dimple with mortar.  If it is wood then cut out the damaged section and replace it.  Can you just cover it up with a piece of sheet metal or roofing material and seal around it?  Need a lot more information or at least a picture before anyone can give you a good answer.

  2. You can get a quart size caulking tube of "SL1". You can find it at a lumber yard that handles commercial materials or at a concrete supply house. You will need to purchase a quart size caulking gun.

Clean the surface good and let it dry-squirt out the SL1 into the dimple and watch it flatten out- it is self leveling. Keep adding more - don't add too much or it will run over edge. Once you have enough-just let it sit. It will cure and stop the birdbath dimple in the material.
