Building regs on external door???

do i need building regs if fitting an external hardwood door, as its non glazed i am led to believe i dont need them

not as long has ur not making the opening larger and changing the header to larger.....

building regs are regulations which assist you when doing any sort of construction work etc.

It is not possible to have them in the way you were referring, I think you mean planning permission, and you won't need any.
