  1. your car can take DD or E sized radios (do you want flip out or flush mounted with the screen visible at all times)

    DD

Double-DIN receivers fit in the 4" tall opening found in many Japanese and American vehicles.

    E

"Euro-DIN" stereos attach from the front through the 2" tall rectangular hole in the dash, sliding into a metal sleeve that attaches to the front of the dash.

yes just go to http://www.crutchfield.com/ (if you put in you cars info it will show you everything that will fit) or places like best buy and/or circuit city

  2. The best way to know if an aftermarket radio is going to work is by finding out what size of DIN you have, knowing that on all radios they have the required amount of DIN space needed to make it fit. What i would do is call a local dealership or local car audio place and ask them to look it up for you and they should be able to tell you exactly what kind of DIN you have in your car. By the size that you say you measured it, i would guess it being about a 2DIN radio, but like i said i would call those people and have them tell you for sure.
