  1. Last years paper (Higher) was only 75% for an A*, which means that if the coursework if 100% (which counts to only half of the grade) you only have to get 50% on the exam to get an A*. I think this was only because many people found the exam harder, as i was Nocha Ltd. But this one is the hotels if i remember rightly from my lesson this morning LOL.

Not sure on the other grade boundries though. . .

  2. The grade boundaries last year were:

    A-72/105

    B-65/105

    C-58/105

The grade boundaries go up and down year by year depending on how easy or hard the paper was but I think they would either increase or decrease by at least 2 because the paper was neither easy nor hard. Coursework is worth 25% of your grade. My coursework is A* and in my mock I got a C and overall my grade was an A. So if you did well enough in the exam to get an A or a B I would say your overall grade could be an A.

  3. I think A is 80%

    B is 70%

    C is 60%

but marks you get in your exam/coursework are sometimes scaled depending on the national average for that paper/assignment

for example if you get 60% in an exam but everyone in the country found it really hard, the percentage for an A may be lowered to say 60%. so you could still get an A.
