That is a type of ninjutsu, right? It is..hand to hand combat that broke off of ninjutsu, but such real ninjutsu is long gone bujinkan/taijutsu is left?

Help me out here.

I'm very interested in it.

Is there a age limit to it?

And are there any dojo's out in arizona, around surprise or phx?

What would I be learning, exactly?

  1. Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu is not just what's left of Ninjutsu. It IS authentic Ninjutsu. It's over 2000 years old and is made up of nine ryuha of combat Ninjutsu. It has weapons, throws, strikes, kicks, stand up grappling, ground fighting, stealth, bone breaking, and some even teach Amatsu Tatara Hichi Buku Goshinjutsu which is ninja medicine. Some dojos will not teach you unless you're at least 18. You will be learning a combat martial art that will train you to survive. I'm not sure where any dojos are in your area. They tend to be rather difficult to find. I only found mine out of shear luck.

  2. yep its ninjutsu, no age limit but you gotta take it pretty seriously or they get annoyed pretty quick,

its not an off shoot it is about as authentic as it comes now days without going to japan, ya know the ninja grandfather masaaki hatsumi thats what he teaches and its one of the only ninjutsu forms that is registered and approved by  hatsumi, when you learn bujinkan budo taijutsu you are acually registered in japan which means they know who you are and that you are learning their martial art no matter what country your in and you are following hatsumi's curiculum which is done on a yearly basis meaning you focus on one main thing for a year, ya know you learn alot of other stuff thats assosiates with that skill at the same time but yeah.... not sure if there are any in your area as im not from there but thats what the nets for or your phone book

p.s just make sure that the school you go to is approved and registered to the Bujinkan Martial Arts Organization

  3. They have answered your questions well so I will just add that you can go to www.ninjutsu.com they have a dojo locator that should help you find a school good luck and have fun.
