  1. A bulk package usually comes in a box of many same items inside. The cost of the box devided by the number of pieces is the price of the individual unit. One unit from a bulk pack cost less than same unit from individualy packed in a protective packaging. Although all units passed quality testing from factory, there's a higher chance that you will receive a defective unit from a bulk pack due to rugged shipment and handling than the individually packed retail packages. So if you buy a Sandisk and the seller says its from a bulk pack, they will ship it to you in a generic packing usually those air bubbles envelope. While a retail unit will have that hard plastic with all the labels and packing seals from sandisk.. If you'll buy just one, Retail packing is wise.
