I have been looking into bullet prices and have been having trouble finding the prices (some of the bullets are obviously going to be problems. If you can answer atleast 1, you will make me a very happy shooter :). Average prices for FMJ are best.

7.62 x 51mm NATO (have only been able to find .308 and no they are not the same. Similar but not the same.)

5.56 x 45mm NATO (Only able to find .223, which is again, similar but not the same.)

6.5mm Grendel

20 x 102mm

30 x 173mm

40 x 46mm Grenade (HEDP preferred)

.50 Caliber BMG

Before you ask, "Why do you want the stuff between 20- and 40mm?" Yes, like I own an aircraft-mounted gatling cannon. This is for that book I keep talking about. Besides, I'm the one asking questions around here!

Give your sources so that I can check and look into other bullets just in case I need to. Also, please look at previous answers to avoid reposting.

  1. Ummm first off you don't need that stuff to write a book.  And if you're writing a book on those specific military items then you should have had some training on them otherwise you won't fully understand.  You can't simply "buy" that stuff either - it's regulated and controlled by people way above your head.  If you want to know prices go down to your local black market and start looking around.

  2. For the 5.56 and 7.62 rounds military surplus the links below; ammotogo also sometimes has 50 BMG.  The ammo listed under military surplus is the 5.56 and 7.62 military rounds and nt the similiar but not exactly the same .223 and .308 calibers.  The 20, 30 and 40 is a different matter and cannot help there.  ATG carres some flares and non-lethal ammo in larger calibers but I think it is the 37mm but doesn't hurt to look there.
