Bullies........?

My friends a vegan and shes not like someone who goes all crazy on people if they eat meat or anything. These kids were being really annoying so she kindly asked them to stop. They said "its not hurting any animals..blah and then they continued by saying ill get me some pig tonight..yum beacon" It bothered me a lot because shell stick up for animals but wont be mean about it. Shell just be honest. Those guys were being jerks and she ignored them but it still bothers me. No one should have to deal with bullies. I keep my beliefs mostly to myself, I mean ill wear stickers or a shirt showing that i like animals but yeah. Whats your view on this and can u do anything to help?!

  1. tell them to **** off.put nasty pig guts in their locker& see if they wanna eat it then.

    WAHAHAHA.

sry, that was evil me for a moment.

but srsly tho, tell them to go get a life.its sad and pathetic that they have to stoop down to such a low level.

    tsk tsk.shame.

  2. It sounds like no one has anything better to do than argue. If everyone minded their own business and had something interesting to talk about then this wouldn't happen. Some people just like to argue. I just walk away, it has nothing to do with me and I am not going to take sides in a silly argument.

  3. Your friend is dealing with this in a mature and appropriate way.

  4. walk straight up to them, say bugger off and then walk off. dont get too involved.

  5. Leave them to their own misirable lives. It is better if you do not let it bother you because that is really what they are looking for. My advice is to just ignore it because frankly: who cares what they say? they are just trying to get under peoples skins and should not be given the satifaction of suceeding. so stuff them!

  6. i personally beleive that meat is good for you, but i ain't gonna put somebody down just cause they beleive somethin different from me

  7. This is a hard one. Being vegan opens you up to lots of teasing and bullying. You just have to know that it comes from a place of fear. Many non-vegetarians actually feel threatened and guilty. I get teased frequently for choosing to not eat meat. I am kind about it and hold my ground until it gets to be too much. At that point I am armed with enough facts about the health risks of meat and how horrible it is for the animals. Maybe your friend should carry some graphic slaughterhouse pictures to whip out everytime some carnivorous jerk wants to make an asinine remark about vegetarianism.
