Bulls coach Frans Ludeke excited by team’s performance in current Super Rugby season
The Bulls coach Frans Ludeke has been flattered with his team’s performance in the ongoing Super Rugby Season. His team has played reasonably well in the matches played so far and has been placed in an overall seventh position on the tables. Ludeke was especially
delighted with stunning victory over the Cheetahs on May 28. The Bulls defeated the Cheetahs by a comprehensive margin of 32-21 in a Super Rugby clash played last weekend.
Talking to the reporters during a practice session today on May 30, Frans Ludeke said that the way his team is playing in the season is satisfying. The coach added that his team’s last victory against the Cheetahs will really boost their morale in the upcoming
matches. He also stated that Bulls went into the field with a strategy and were successful in implementing their plans.
Ludeke shifted the conversation and said, "It was an 80 minute effort for the first time this season, we fought to the end and got the bonus point in the final minutes. Our set phases were very good and I think our defense was also exemplary."
The Bulls have been helped by bonus points with a splendid victory over the Cheetahs. They were leading the game by 25-21 at the interval and made their position stronger during the second part of the game.
The coach also appreciated his forward, Danie Rossouw, for his two well timed tries in the match. He said that Rossouw had played an extraordinary game and helped his side with a much needed victory. He added, “He is playing very good rugby, probably some
of the best rugby of his career and [apart from the brace], one of his biggest contributions he makes is on the advantage line where he somehow eludes defenders or just runs over them. He made a massive impact again.”
The Bulls are expecting their place in the top six teams of the championship after winning all three remaining matches. They have yet to play against the Waratahs, Stormers and Sharks in the current season.
