The Bulls organization said that they're gonna lock up all key players and said that those key players are Luol Deng and Derrick Rose..They also said that they are gonna build around those two key players to make the team better...I mean how are they gonna do that with all the decent free agent centers signed already by other teams(If I am right they need a good center right?) in order to be a good team they still need a consistent perimeter shooter and a good defensive low post center

What is Gordon's value if they really do sign and trade him?

Who's the right player that they should get(a center or a power forward) if so happens they trade gordon?

  1. Gordon wants a lot of money because he has been our leading scorer for years, but he wants more then Luol Deng, and he dosen't deserve it in my opinion, it takes more than scoring to get money. I think they are going to sign him to a 1 or 2 year deal and trade him of for a down low presence, Drew Gooden can't do it all. In my opinion, all it takes is a good gaurd and scorer to get to play-offs, like fisher and fisher or t mac and felton, but both of those guys have great rebounders, so all the bulls gotta do is get a good center or switch gooden to center and get a power forward. I hear Rasheed Wallace is on the block.

they will probly trade gordon for a pf, have the pf and gooden switch of and get 4th seed in play offs.

  2. im a raps fan and you took our commentator chuck swirsky how dare you :'(

  3. This whole thing about a lack of a post player is a bit overblown. Yes, it would be a good thing to have, but you can get around it. And for the Bulls, playing Noah at center and Thomas at pf allows you to have a terrific run and gun team with Rose, (gordon, hinrich, sefalosha, or hughes), Deng, Thomas, and Noah.

Here's what they need to do: Don't sign Gordon- While he's a great scorer who would excell with rose at the point, he is one dimensional and replaced easier than most players on the team. That will leave the Bulls with about 8 million a year to not have to spend. Then, this summer when Drew Gooden comes on the market, let him go and nab another 7+ million right there leaving you with about 15 million. Then, the next offseason is the motherload in which James, Bosh, and, more realisticly Wade, come on the market. And guess who's whopping 14+ million contract comes off the books? Larry Hughes. This leaves you with very near 30 million dollars (though it will be a decent amount less due to players like tyrus, sefalosha, and Joakim needing to be resigned.) So we'll say around 22-23 million very realisticly. D-wade has told people that he does not necessarily want to remain in Miami for his whole career. And guess what his hometown is? Chicago. Wade is only making about 14 million this season. For a chance to play in his hometown with a chance of a championship alongside Derrick Rose and Luol Deng, 22-23 million will be more than enough to persuade him.

Then, look at the Bull's roster! They have a big three of Derrick Rose, Luol Deng, and D-Wade along with Tyrus at pf and Noah at center. Then, off the bench, they have Hinrich, Sefalosha, Nocioni, Gray, and some other young players from the two drafts that happen in those years. And you have to remember, this is two years from now, Deng will be a 22-23 ppg and 7-8 rpg player who is still only 25 and will be the Pippen to Wade's Jordan, Rose will be a 21 year old stud just coming into his own and averaging around 15-18 ppg and 7-10 apg, and the centerpeice Dwayne Wade will be only a 28 year old just hitting his prime averaging around 27-29 ppg, 6-8 apg, and 4-6 rpg. That is an extremely young and productive big three. But it doesn't stop there, the other players around them are all still going to be very young and will have come into their own as well. Noah will likely be a solid 12-15 ppg and 8-10 rpg player at 25 years old, Thomas will probably be a 12-15 ppg and 6-8 rpg player who has the potential to actually be much better than that at 23 years old. Sefalosha will be a very good 6th man averaging 15 ppg, 4-7 rpg, and 3-5 apg at 24 years old. Gray will still be a bit of a clod but will be a post threat and a very solid back-up center averaging around 10 ppg and 7 rpg at 25 years old. Then, your two veterans, Nocioni (31-32 years old) and Hinrich (29 years old) will still be very solid contributers and guide the young players to several championships. Then, in the same offseason that you sign D-Wade, you use what money is left over to add some depth to your roster by signing another powerforward (a solid pf is a dime a dozen) as well as another guard/forward to add overall depth.

The Bulls will win several championships and dominate the east for years. Even though it may sound unrealistic, if you look at the cap space that the Bulls would have from not signing gordon, Gooden, or Hughes, and add in the fact that Wade is a chicago native, it actually does make a lot of sense and is very possible.

  4. they should sign and trade with Miami, Kirk Hinrich for Mark Blount and Marcus Banks. They get rid of Kirk and get a decent center.

  5. i agree with building around deng and rose.YOUNG CENTERS seem not to be working with the bulls(chandler) i say get a vetern center.

  6. They Need a Big Guard who can score thirty a night.

  7. it won't help because bulls will be lucky to win 30 next year!! ha! ha!

  8. Gordon's value is very high. He's just in the wrong offense. Yeah I said it he is in the wrong offense. He needs to be in a fast paced offense like phoenix or detroit.
