Ok, so there's these girls who pick on my best friend all of the time. At the last two street festivals they have poured their drinks on her. At the last street festival they did it three times. The first time she just let it go, because she didn't want to make a scene. When my friends boyfriend got there he asked her what was wrong. She told him that they had just poured snow-cone down their shirt. Her boyfriend went over to talk to them. While he was over there one of the girls came over and did it again, only worse this time. We tried to be the more mature ones and just let it slide. After that, about 15 or 20 minutes later, the girl comes and pour a snow-cone down her shirt again. This time her boyfriend has had enough and pushes the girl and yells at her. That was the last incident of the night. But then the girl starts texting my friend telling her how much of a s**t she is and all this other c**p. So I start texting the girl telling her she needs to leave my friend alone. Eventually, after many threats from her to my friend, I find out that they are doing this because they think that my friend is a s**t because she "just turned 14, and is already having s*x". She knows she made a mistake, and she now knows the consequences, and has only done it once, and her boyfriend respects that.

Now the three girls that are bullying her are lying to their parents about what happend. Their putting in parts of the story to make it sound like my friend started it all. Like my friend pour a snow-cone on them first, when she never even had a snow-cone. They admit that their lying to their parents. But now the girl insists on fighting my friend. And I can't let them do that because, no matter how you see it, the fight would be unfair. Not that my friend is weak but she's is 5'3" and 100 pounds, the other girl is 5'9" and atleast 150. There is no chance that my friend could win. I can't go and tell parents because the girls will just lie to get their way out of it. I can;t go fight them because then I'm fighting my friends battles, which will just make her look like a wimp. What do I do?

  1. as bad as it sounds, just tell them to stop or apologize. this is wierd though. ur firend turning 14 and having s*x doesnt rly concern those girls though. talk to the principal

  2. It sounds like these girls are pretty jealous, and she should try to just forget about them, and focus on herself.  Im sure this will just infuriate these girls even more, cuz it sounds like they like the attention they are getting. So tell your friend to stop giving them this attention.

  3. You guys are now over the age of 10.  Which means:  you can be arrested for committing crimes.  Public harassment is a crime...your friend should have talked to the person in charge of the festival or the police that were hanging around (most public events are required to have police).  There are also very small recording devices (both auditory and visual) that can record the harassment should it continue.

Also, call your phone company.  There is a law against telephone harassment.  One state even enacted a new law recently about text harassment. The phone company is the one to contact with complaints.

As far as continued harassment, ask some adults to keep an eye on her and her conduct around your friend.  They will intervene when something happens and it will look like the other girl was just caught, not that you turned her in.
