Bulmers Baby to challenge the lineup for the Boyne Valley Foods Open 525 Semi-Final on 25th February
The Boyne Valley Foods Open 525 Semi-Final is to be held on Saturday, 25th February at Shelbourne Park over 525 yards flat. The race has €100 prize money.
Unbeatable in his last two starts of 2012 is Bulmers Baby, Droopys Scolari’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Ballerin Lass. Out of the three starts that she has made, Bulmers Baby was third once and has the rest under her belt.
On 28th January, she won an open race over 400 yards which she clocked in 21.50 seconds and led by two lengths. Ardcarne Mick was the runner up of the race. She was the 5/4 favourite for her next start on 11th February.
Bulmers Baby covered the 400 yards track in 21.67 seconds and yet again was in lead of two lengths.
If Bulmer Baby wins today then she will strike her 2012 hat trick.
Another convincing entry on the lineup is Priceless Spark, Droopys Scolari’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Woodhill Spark. She has posted her seasonal debut victory right out of her first attempt.
Priceless Spark won a 525 yards open race on 11th February by finishing the track distance in 28.43 seconds and was in lead of two lengths. Hidden Jester was the runner up of the race.
Head For Fame, Head Bound’s three-year-old black daughter out of b***h Musical Sandwich, was unbeaten in her first two starts of the 2012 season and then bumped into an unfortunate second position which could have resulted in her seasonal debut hat trick.
She won the Grade A3 Welcome To Shelbourne A3 525 on 7th January at Shelbourne Park. Head For Fame was through the track distance in 29.11 seconds and led by a length. She was also the 2/1 favourite for the race.
On 12th January, she won the Grade A2 The Fundraising Night Out A2 525 Semi-Final at Shelbourne Park. She managed covering the distance in 28.51 seconds and enjoyed a lead of four and a half lengths.
Allen Grove, the 5/4 favourite for the race made it through the wire in 28.87 seconds and took on the runner up’s place.
Rest of the lineup includes Ballymac Tipp, Eabhas Fantasy and Boherna House.
