Bump from nose piercing?

It feels like a huge bump IN my nose from were my nose is pierced. It doesn't hurt or anything, theres just a bump and it's kinda weird. Is it infected ? And should I take my stud out ?

as long as nothing that smells bad or looks bad comes out of the piercing when you clean it (sterile saline with nothing added works super well) then, it is either a keiloid or a reaction to the metal. metall allergies will give you itching and burning and clear stuff coming out non stop. and it will be stinky, too. if it is an allergy to the metal, clean it well and then put in new jewelry that has been throghouly cleaned, and you should notice a big difference within a few days. don't use alcohol, peroxide, neopsporin, just keep your hands off of it unless you have washed them and leave it alone. lastly, if it is a keloid, it may go down a bit but probably not. a good metal to look for is 316lvm stainless steel, which is what they use on airplaines. gold is okay but it must be nickel free. and may discolor from the healing acids in your skins. titanium is an excellent choice, as well. silver can cause a bad reaction and can stain the hole black. really. keep good quality jewelry in there, keep it clean, hands off, and you will be fine in no time.
