Bump on leg that is really swelling

i have a red bump that is the size of a quarter and i am wondering what to do. it hurts and itches and i do not know what it is please help

possibley a bug bite...I work in an urgent care and see alot of these that become open sores and infected. at best you should have it looked at. Staph and mrsa are big troubles even with bug bites.
