  1. 12s will be more responsive, but you cant beat the thunder of their 15s.

  2. go with the 12s. 10s would probably be even better but if you do listen to other music sometimes also the 12s would be good. Id also go with a sealed enclosure

  3. It's not really going to matter.  You're working with the same series of subs from the same company.  The only difference is the size of the cone and maybe magnet.  The designs of the subs are identical.  A 15" sub can be more "responsive" then a 12 or 10 if it's in the right box and the sub is designed to be that way.  There are many technical factors identified in the Theile/Small parameters for speakers that will help identify it's "responsiveness" which have nothing to do with the physical size of the speaker.   Unfortunately, car audio companies do not like to divulge this information.  Since you seem to already have your heart set on an MTX 9500 for some reason, whether you get a 10, 12 or 15 should be based on how much power you've got to feed the sub and how much space you're willing to give up for the enclosure.  Since you know you want to "bump" techno, I'm sure you're also aware techno doesn't really have much for low bass.  So, if you're really wanting to get the most of your setup, take some time to determine what frequency you most commonly are "bumping" and tune your enclosure in the vicinity of that frequency, I'd hazard a guess at around 50 hz or so.  Go with a ported box tuned to that fequency and you should be pretty happy regardless of it being a 10" 12" or 15".
