The Bundesliga witnessed another week of unpredictable results which is why it is arguably Europe’s most competitive league at the moment. Reigning champions, Borussia Dortmund, continued their sensational run whereas Bayern dropped
two points against SC Freiburg and played a bore draw away from home.

The Borussians carried on with their sensational run after the winter break and secured all three points against struggling Hertha Berlin. Kevin Grosskreutz’s second-half strike proved to be decisive as the visitors maintained
their lead at the top of the table.
Jurgen Klopp’s side won their fifth straight game after the winter break and have continued to dominate the proceedings this season. It is certainly Dortmund’s title to lose this season.

The Bavarian giants dropped another two points in their games against SC Freiburg. Jupp Heynckes’ side should have claimed all three points to remain on the heels of Dortmund but the display was again poor, as it has been after
the winter break.
The former German champions have won only two of the five games played in the Bundesliga since the restart in January. They lost to Borussia Monchengladbach and played tame draws against Hamburg SV and Freiburg. The Munich giants
will have to step up in the remaining games if they have any chance of winning the title this season.
Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 FC Augsburg
Werkself secured a brilliant victory against relegation contenders, FC Augsburg, to ease some pressure on Robin Dutt. Stefan Kiessling scored a brace whereas http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gonzalo-Castro-c15105 and Andre Schurrle found the net once to give the home
side a much needed three points.
However, the team is still 10 points adrift of the UEFA Champions League spot and a place in the UEFA Europa League looks highly likely.
FC Kaiserslautern 1-2 Borussia Monchengladbach
Lucien Favre’s side continues to surprise this season as they climbed to the second spot on the standings table with a win over FC Kaiserslautern. The Foals are only three points behind Borussia Dortmund and the title race could
go down to the wire this season.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-Arango-c19652 scored for the visitors early in the first-half to secure their 14th win of the season.
Schalke 4-0 http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Wolfsburg-c40881
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues made a strong comeback after their disappointing loss to Borussia Monchengladbach last week. The hosts thrashed Felix Magath’s Wolfsburg 4-0 at home to make a statement about their title chances. The team is five
points adrift of Borussia Dortmund currently and is placed fourth on the standings table.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Raul-c30652 Gonzalez and Joel Matip as Die Knappen completed a comprehensive win.
