The former Germany international claimed that the game-play in the Bundesliga is improving with every passing day because of the superb form of domestic teams and the raised fame of football in the country following the highly
successful 2006 World Cup.
The former experienced player claimed that recent seasons show that the German League is going through an ideal time and is on the rise. He stated that the financial and sporting aspects of the Bundesliga are perfect and far better
than other European Leagues.
The goalkeeper revealed that a study confirmed that at least 40 million people follow the domestic league in Germany. He further added that the World Cup held in the vicinity has helped them to a large effect. The teams now have
up-to-date facilities and newer and advanced stadiums which attract more fans into the games.
"There is evidence that the Bundesliga is in a 'golden age. The sporting and economic conditions in this country are at least better than in other European leagues. Studies have shown that football has more than 40 million people
interested in it in Germany,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

"The 2006 World Cup has left the majority of football clubs with high-tech infrastructure and consistently high attendances," the eight-time Bundesliga winner added.
