Bunnies with Anger Issues.?

i have 2 himalayon bunnies a doe and a buck, sometimes when i feed them, they take the food dish off the cage and dump out their food and then start shaking the food dish,

i hold them and the have a clean cage and water, what would still cause them to do that?

  1. Dominance in a bunny couple. This means you should figure out who is the dominant one. This is the bunny you should feed first. Make sure that that bunny gets food first. I know that sounds crazy but its true. Another thing. Getting the bunnies spayed and neutered plays a big role in their temper. They will calm down a considerable amount once this is done. Get very heavy ceramic bowls for food and water. Or try bowls that connect to the side of the cage.

They're stressed.  They may need a bigger cage and to be separated.  It's not always a good idea to house male and female together.  When they dump their food, let it alone and don't feed them again until next day.  They'll eventually get hungry enough, as long as their other needs are met, that they'll eat.
