Question:

Bunny Problems 2??????????

Ook i asked in my previous question if there is any signs that my bunny is unhealty.

she's had a runny nose before for like 10 minutes then it dried up fast.

I have noticed at some points, her eyes get clouded a lil. But her eyes are grey so you have to look with a light

She has been bobbing her head, but only when she's exploring new territory. I think its common for bunnies to bob their heads, right?

She eats fine, poops fine, eats hay fine. Sooo....is she healthy?

  1. hm, i suggest you go out and buy some rabbit books that have sections on deciphering rabbit 'speak'.

the running around and 'spazzing' sounds like a happy jump. they  come in all shames and sizes. im around 100% sure thats what it is. basically your rabbit is excited and super happy being out of her cage.

um as for the bobbing. im not entirely sure what you mean - my rabbits dont bob their head. that in turn with the cloudy eyes makes me think you should probably take her to the vet just to be 100% sure there is nothing wrong. or at the very least, call the vet and make sure its ok.

if you live in the states go to www.rabbit.org and go to their section on vets- rabbits are considered exotic pets and are very fragile and should not be taken to your every day dog/cat vet

  2. I agree with the answer above, the jumping is a sign she is happy.  At least ring a vet that knows about bunnies and tell them the symptoms, they can tell you if it's worth taking her in.  But since she's eating, drinking, peeing and pooping it can't be too serious, so don't worry too much :)

  3. You might want to google up some answers or get a book on rabbit health/diseases. And as for the "spaz" thing. It means that shes happy. Some people call it popcorn, or binking.

    Hope this helps!
