Bunny Screaming Normal?

Question

When I was over at my friends house it was storming and I think he got scared. But he was up on his little bunny bungalow and then lightening came and he feel off and starting kind of whimpering/screaming. Then my friend took him out because he was shaking and his leg was kind of all over the place... He looked like he was a having a seizure. So when she took him out he started screaming. It was really high pitched and horribly freaky. What do you think happened?

No it's not normal.  Rabbits only scream when they are in extreme pain or dying

The rabbit went into shock. She should bring him indoors and comfort him when there is a storm or fireworks etc. They are terrified of loud noises.

"the bunny fell and his leg was all over the place and he was screaming"  It sounds to me like the bunny could have broken his leg or is some extreme pain.  Get the bunny to a vet if it is still living.  Poor thing.

He was definitely scared. My friend's bunnies scream or thump their hind legs when another friend brings over her dog.

Rabbits, and other rodents and larger animals, are afraid of sudden, loud noises. My hamster freezes like she is dead when thunder happens, and fireworks. Just take them out, like you did, and comfort them, and try to cover their ears and eyes to calm them.

I didn't know that rabbits could scream, I'll bet it was scary! ^o^

you obviously know very little about animals same goes for your friend

Rabbits, guineapigs etc are terrified of fireworks, thunder and lightning etc and will soemtimes go into shock. if a storm starts cover the animal in a towel over the eyes and put in a dark box and bring inside and keep a close eye on it. He was just very scared and shaken

my hamster screamed when there was a big thunder storm , and a big thunder sound. i heard him scream all the way downstairs, things make noise , so  i think its ok .o and if u think ur bunny is having a seizure take him to a vet
