Bunyol to valencia?

Is it walking distance? say from a hotel around the town center of valencia to were the tomato fight is held in bunyol. ive read its about a 20 minute drive and i wouldnt mind walking for about and hour ya know get to see the town a bit more since im only staying for the festival. or am i bettter off talking the train or bus.

Well, a 20 minute drive is about 20 kms and that equals 5 hours walking.  As Bunol is actually about 40kms from Valencia you'll be walking for 10 hours!!!

There is a regular train, and I suggest you take it.

No, certainly not.  Valencia is a hugh City and if you are staying in the centre you would surely get lost to start with. If you did find your way out of the city it would take you the best part a day plus the tomatina festival is in August and the tempratures here are well over 100 degrees.  

Take the bus or the Train.. Have lots of fun and try and take some time to explore the City it has something for everyone.  If you need to know more add me to your contacts and ask.  I will help if I can.
