  1. i don't think you'll need a lot of questions on your part.  just answer theirs and be respectful.  make sure you thank them for the interview ("thank you for your time and i enjoyed meeting you") at the end and give a good firm handshake - you'd be surprised how far that little gesture at the end will go.

  2. As a former chef and I have done hiring for a first time interview for a part-time job, just be polite, and when they ask if you have any questions, make sure you ask the important ones, like are there many late shifts, you want to know when to call your ride or if the public transit system closes how you will get home?, then ask if the shifts schedules is posted on which day, you want to know so you can plan your time, homework and other school issues, and as the first lady said, thank them for there time and shake there hand firmly, ask when you might be hearing back from them, some may say that is being to forward, but it shows interest in the job, plus if you do not here within 48-72 hours then your likely not getting hired and you can continue your search or go to other interviews, I would anyway just to keep your options open in case.

  3. would you like fries with that?
