How old do you have to be to take classes, usually?

Haha! Burlesque is a physical humor when it comes to acting so the clarification of dancing does really help. Since I don't think what you want is humor.

I'm guessing what you're wanting is erotic dancing lessons. Strippers, Pole dancers, show-girls and the like all make very good money and are VERY physically fit. So, to take 'burlesque' dancing lessons you would have to be at least 18.

It would be fairly inappropriate for a young person to be dancing burlesque. I'd say at the VERY youngest 18+. That style of performance simply isn't for kids.

You usually don't have to be any age because the art of Burlesque dancing is it incorporates belly, ballet, hip hop, ets and puts them all into one dance.
