Question:

Burned CDs wont play in Corolla?

I have a '05 Toyota Corolla with a stock 6 CD changer. Up until a few weeks ago, I was able to play burned CDs in mp3 format, but now whenever I try to play one, I get an error message. It plays normal CDs fine so theres not a problem with the lens. I thought it might be a problem with the CD quality but I've tried Sony, Maxell, Optimum, Compusa, and Fujifilm and none of them seem to work.

Any thoughts?

  1. I think that you should go to an Toyota representant and they should fix it immediately, that's the only way...

  2. if you have itunes, the itunes usually formats the songs into AAC format which most Stock radios don't read or it could be in another format.  burn a cd then put it in your CPU, see if it work and if you have itunes right click on the song file then go to properties and look at the file type or format.  If this is the problem you may be able to switch the format in itunes but if not look for free audio converters downloads online.
