Burned cds?

I got a few cds that is burned with songs. I don't want the cds anymore. Do I just throw them away in the trash?

I would physically destroy the CDs first, then put them in the trash. They are not recyclable.

you can throw them away,or perhaps give them to somebody you think might like the music that you have recorded on the cd's.i would probebly offer them to somebody first,then if they dont want them,just toss them in the trash.keep the jewel cases though,if they have one...

take them to Future Shop they have a recycling barrel (red drum) they will recycle them and they also take old MP3 players for recycling

I've seen discarded cd's used in a few creative ways:

--Farmers & gardeners put them in trees or on poles near plants to deter birds and other animals from feeding there.

--Parents make mobiles to entertain children, especially babies.

--Windmill / weather-vane type creations are assembled with the cd's on the outside edge of the cross-bars.  They catch the wind and reflect sun and other lights as they twirl.  I have seen these used simply as "decoration" (of a sort), but also as a bit more elaborate attempt to keep animals from eating plants which someone is trying to protect.

Be sure that they are not rewritable cd's before you discard them; it would be a shame to throw away something which still was useful.

check the cds for space if its there.you can use it.

Remember that you must use the same version of the burning software.

Tip:-next time when you burn cds check for the multy session option so that you can the free space afterwards.

If you dont have the free space on the cds then you can give them to somone who can use the data or check out this website to utilize the trash in a more innovative way

If you take a styrofoam ball and cut the cds into little squares and hotglue them to the ball you'll have a home-made disco ball to get down and funky with!
