Burned out and weary.?

I've been to a career counselor and still cannot pin down an interest. I'm considering a multidisplinary degree that will encompass three things, including, Criminal Justice, Psychology and either Religion or Special Education. I have very diverse tastes! I wouldn't mind say a major in just one but I don't want to take all the other coursework that I feel I won't need, for instance: I do not want to be a cop, nor do I want to be a counselor or psychologist,etc. I just want some knowledge and a degree, for the sake of having a bachelors. I'm burned out and tired of fighting and trying to find a program that's right for me. I just truthfully want to find a good job and work(like anyone else). Sorry, I'm just very discouraged and tired of all the mess that colleges offer.

I've been burned by 3 colleges(didn't follow up on me after acceptance b/c I have no idea what to do!). I'm trying to finish my A.A(one class left) so I can transition better. No clue as to what job path to follow either so that shoots my wad I guess. I didn't want to go to college in the first place but I made good grades (3.6 GPA in H.S and college). Any advice, have you been there?

Getting a jumbled up degree like that won't help you work at a job you'd like if you aren't even interested in pursuing any of their related fields. You're better off working your way up in retail or as a secretary. I volunteered at a hospital a couple of years ago and the secretaries there seemed to enjoy their work and I got a feeling they were making a decent living.

For this kind of stuff you should get certificates in computer literacy, English proficiency, and management from community colleges. You may end up as a store manager after a few years and less than half the money of full blown colleges.

Don't waste your life and parent's money taking courses for the sake of it. My cousin could be a good journalist or fiction writer but he's messed up his first two years of college jumping from major to major (including criminal justice).
